Modern Home Concepts was founded in 2005 by Mike Burianek, a Northeast Ohio native. With years of experience working with and learning from some of the top area builders, Mike started his company to focus on home builds that utilized the newest technology and a wide range of energy efficient features. By embracing these new methods Mike was able to offer more affordable, custom homes, filled with luxury features. Mike’s dedication to hard work, and his belief that you treat others as you would like to be treated, means that every house he builds meets the highest standards; standards which have lead to Modern Home Concepts winning multiple awards in the industry.

At the same time we’re keeping up with the latest innovations in energy conscious supplies and appliances, to ensure a low impact on the environment and affordable monthly bills. Standard homes lose a large percentage of their energy through energy leaks in ceilings, doors, windows and vents. Even small areas such as recessed cans can be a large drain on your energy bill. Modern Home Concepts ensures that these joints and seams are as tightly sealed as we can make them, which lowers your monthly costs. We partner with programs like energy star and make sure every MHC home is blower door tested for a 5 star or 5 star energy plus rating. Working from the foundation up we seal windows, doors, joints and ceilings so that your home is easy to heat, easy to cool and 100% efficient.
